Fittingly, it uses land and graveyard synergies to generate value

Emerald includes characters and abilities that change and control gameplay

From enchantment reanimation with Yuna, Hope of Spire, and Cecil, Dark Knight mono black midrange, to my personal favourite Gruul Delium with Terra, Magical Adept

I just hope we get to see some more unique and creative card design if (when?) Wizards prints more of these in the future
