I like this suite better than one shots for a few reasons

Tyranitar ex [Obsidian Flames] is usually a Darkness-type Pokemon or a Fighting-type Pokemon, but in Obsidian Flames Tyranitar ex is a Lightning-type Pokemon

The [When Digivolving]/[When Attacking] effect lets you link a card from this Digimons digivolution cards or your hand that has the [Appmon] trait to 1 of your Digimon without paying the cost

So thats why a card like that is in the deck, that doesnt really fit the theme of the deck
