Greetz, Quuador joponnes March 9, 2025, 9:36pm 17 I agree the line between what is card and what is not can be a bit shady but the obvious card ones in your post are definitely pokemon cards, i think the biggest brand can easily absorb the whole title to itself but that doesnt mean there isnt more of it in reality
This was also around the same time as the release of the film Detective Pikachu , which explains the unique card art
Similarly, the Grimer card from the Team Rocket set had its artwork subtly changed: in Japan, Grimers eyes looked upward (interpreted by some as peeking up a girls skirt), so the English card was edited so Grimers eyes look forward instead of upward
Theres other versions of the Zapdos card available, of course so you wont have to pay $50 if youre just after a card to be the centrepiece of an Electric deck (see our Pokemon Energy Types guide for more on this!)
