You can't use him to challenge something, get some damage on him, and then ready him and quest since all of Ruby's readying abilities say you can't quest after readying
I just think Rydia's Return is overcosted and not good enough, though it does seem good out of the sideboard for slower matchups
I definitely dont think he will go down in value though
you no longer need to worry about an opponent who sweeps it aside with Wrath of God or whatever everybody else does to handle your legendary board, so its easier to rebuild
