On average itll draw you two cards, but if you build with it in mind, you can have Scroll Rack or Reinforcements turn this into quite the refill

Defiler of Flesh converts a single black pip on each permanent you cast into Phyrexian mana, which sounds great, but the cast trigger is pretty tame compared to something like Defiler of Vigor or Defiler of Dreams

Managing something like this at a competitive level would be horrific but, given that cards that have to be banned keep getting printed, maybe its best to just accept that things dont always need to be competitive to be entertaining

Seven mana is steep, but this plan may only really work in the late game anyway, so its easily worth it
