Excluding Commander Masters and Time Spiral Remastered, the latest appearance of slivers in an MTG set dates back to 2019s Modern Horizons
With the release of the 2020 Commander decks, I spent a lot of time looking at mutate creatures and for some reason resisting the urge to build an infect deck
Black appreciates this effect more, particularly since white always has such an abundance of stuff along these lines (while black rarely gets anything remotely this good at this)
It also hamstrings the popular Winota, Joiner of Forces and prevents her from snowballing out of control
