While you can't get 3 instances of Mana Leak for 5 mana that isn't really a thing, you are not often countering 3 separate spells at once
They also have the same problem in reverse, it is impossible to get mana or colour screwed but getting all the wrong actual cards and failing to curve is nearly as bad
