With the addition of Unholy Heat to Modern, not even Lightning Bolt has been able to fully withstand the power creep of the last few years, and I personally would place it below Unholy Heat in power level when taking into consideration the context of the Modern metagame
Compared to last year which had that great video that felt like a love letter to the TCG and revealed multiple owner's pokemon, this year felt way more aimed at collectors with a generic trailer and more focus on the fancy art treatments
The next version keeps the green mode as the creature answer but changes it from a fight to what R&D calls a bite (where the damage is only dealt in one direction)
You will be able to log in with your existing Wizards Account, use your current collection, play with your existing decks, and swap between mobile and desktop devices as you prefer
Black gives you a range of creatures, but rarely do you get the big hitters you'd like to see in a removal-heavy pair like this
