For Steel in particular, an ink color that inherently uses card cycling (draw and then discard), Circle of Life could be a way to easily bring out Mickey Mouse - Giant Mouse in roughly half the time you would need to normally if you were to rely on just the standard inkwell curve
It is obviously awful against anything other than a deck with at least a couple of hard counters but it is pretty golden against those that do
If you put a Trickster's Elk on an opposing creature to shrink it down to a 3/3, and then the creature dies later on, you are the one left with the original 3/3 Elk on the battlefield, not your opponent
Be on the lookout for cards like Sign in Blood, which are targeted draw spells, so you can draw a bunch of cards or inflict double the damage to opponents
