本作に生じたかせは、単なる経年の変化というよりは、悠久の海路を物語る風趣です。千利休が説いた「わび・さび」の美学とも響き合いながら、無作為の景色が、奥行きのある余韻を残しています。

李朝時代の味わい深い木の燭台と、白磁の灯火器です。

古材の上に瓶だけどんと置いても、絵になります。

李朝時代に食膳として用いられたへジュバン。黒漆塗の天板は縁が立ち上がり、器を安定して載せられる造りです。側板には透かし彫りが施され、装飾性も備えた素朴な実用家具です。
