Lighting Half bound in a burgundyA silver gilt double ended scent bottle, fully hallmarked for silversmith John Harris, London, 1857. The piece was retailed by Thomas Diller of London, with the inside pop up lid having the necessary gold crown. The scent bottle has two lids, one with a pop up mechanism, the other a screw top. The pop up mechanism is a little stiff but works as it should, likewise the screw top. There is a small dink to the lid of the screw top (please see
