There are very slight traces of white in some and an occasional chevron

These stones are from Russia   The colors are natural

They are sorted but may contain a small amount of other stones and matrix but I didn't notice any in this lot

Rhodochrosite occurs as a hydrothermal vein mineral along with other manganese minerals in low temperature ore deposits as in the silver mines of Romania where it was first found

One side has some iron coloring
