The Greek goddess of wisdom, Athene, was often depicted with an owl, as was her Roman counterpart Minerva. This spectacular ring was originally part of an antique Victorian stick pin (circa 1870 1900). We removed the pin stem and welded the owl onto a split 10k gold band.
