Pristinamycin is highly active against many antibiotic resistant pathogens, particularly Gram positive bacteria, including Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Vancomycin resistant S. aureus (VRSA) and Enterococcus faecium (VREF).
