Perhaps we'll see other subtypes emerge going forward, such as flower (Black Lotus, Lotus Bloom, etc.), Jewel (Moxes, Jeweled Amulet, etc.), and orb (Winter Orb, Zuran Orb, Chaos Orb, etc.)
If any of them require targets, those targets are chosen as you put the abilities on the stack, before any of those abilities resolve
Other than the two below average moves, Trapinch does have an average hp and low retreat cost, but there are definitely better basic Pokemon out there to use if you're looking to get one more Pokemon card into your deck
That alone makes it a powerful card, as having equipment be a creature before you pay to attach it to something else gives you a tremendous amount of flexibility
In this deck, I dont think thats an issue, because I think youll always have plenty of targets in your graveyard once you have enough mana to make it powerful, so I like Raise the Alarm here even though I didnt use it in other places
