Each turn, that player can boost his or her Pokmons attack power by adding Energy cards to that Pokmon, play special Trainer cards, and even evolve his or her Pokmon into stronger forms
The first is a nice sized 2/2 Bear with offspring two, and then they'll tap for that mana, and then you can tap them for non-mana after that happens, and then after your ramp is done, tap it to perma pump with +1/+1 counters and then our highest scoring common (Pauper, PEZ) will have a blocking size of 1/3, and then tap for that mana, with no bell or whistles
While tournament decks will probably still go with the more consistent Through the Breach plan, using Naban, Dean of Iteration to build an Eldrazi with Auratouched Mage could at least make for a fun budget option in the format
Create a 1/1 green and white Citizen creature token and a 1/1 red Devil creature token with "When this creature dies, it deals 1 damage to any target." CARDNAME deals damage equal to the number of creatures you control to target creature or planeswalker
